In a previous post, I commented about the title of the coming Bille August movie ‘Balladen om Marie/The Passion Of Marie’. I’m happy to say that the title indeed has been changed to a more international title and one that is simple, but strong: ‘Marie Krøyer’. It has been released only a few days ago in Denmark, on the 27th of September 2012. I’m looking forwar to see it, but unfortunately I live in the UK where no one ever heard of the magnificent Krøyer. Guess I have to wait for the DVD to come out.

I have to say though, the trailer gives the feeling the movie is very much overproduced, average and the early ratings on IMDB (5.3 from 32 users) do not promise much. But when did a trailer do a movie justice. At least the movie I had in mind years ago has been released. Hip hip hurrah!
