I’m a long time Krøyer fan. He even inspired me to learn Danish and to live in Copenhagen for three years. Krøyer, world famous in Denmark. But with his fantastic art, his live that reads like a soap, it’s surprising that hardly anyone outside Scandinavia knows his name. They might recognise a beach painting from a cookie tin, though, but the name is unknown. What Mozart is for Austria, Van Gogh for the Netherlands, Krøyer is for Denmark.

The goal of this website is to honour his life with the creation of an animation short. I hope to get the funding and time to achive this goal. Besides that, I would like to keep you updated on any Krøyer related news appearing in the world.
